I've really enjoyed my stay so far at Pisco sin Fronteras, and
the first day at work felt really good. I'll post about that when I
manage to get photos uploaded (small town + developing country =
slow, dodgy connections), but let's just say that it totally makes
sense why people stay here much longer than they intended to, and so
many come back.
This is normally anannualpost, but last year
I went to Africa
instead. But returning to tradition: Who's going to Burning

Right now I'm doing the reverse of the trip into Seattle. One of
the first things I saw on my way in last Monday was the world-famous
Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Haven't heard of it? I'll bet you
have-maybe this

There really isn't anything at Boston Market that appeals to me,
but it's a comfortable place where I can chill with my laptop by a
window while flamingnerd's car gets serviced down the
road.

The last couple of days have been emotionally exhausting. I'm sitting in the corner of a hanger at the NASA AMES Research Centre in Mountain View typing this, because I just had so much on my mind to dump into a private entry that it became urgent. This was worse than that Saturday the 31st when U-Haul didn't have
the truck I reserved six weeks before. This was worse than the time I
had to clear a garage full of personal belongings through the rain. It
was even worse than any of the overseas moves I've done. And it wasn't
even my move!
